It is one of the most attractive tourist centres of the area, destination for relax, with the striking small harbour dominated by one of the most beautiful coastal towers, Torre Pelosa.

The long stretch of coast offers the visitors a wonderful view, made even more striking by the landscape and architectural beauties which overlook the sea.
Not to be missed: the Castello Angiono/Angevin Castle (12th century) which has a particular star shape; the Chiesa Matrice (Cathedral), a Renaissance art jewellery; the Palazzo Roberti-Alberotanza (Palace). The sagra del Polpo (Octopus Festival), which is held during mid summer, attracts many tourists.

Polignano
Overlooking the Adriatic sea, remembered by many as the “pearl of the Adriatic” for its cliffs and marine caves, Polignano has plenty of artistic and cultural beauties, amongst which the via Traiana (Trajan's road), the Palazzo del Governatore (Governor's Palace), the Palazzo del Feudatario (Feudatory's Palace) and the Palazzo dell'Orologio (Clock's Palace).
This town, which was the birthplace of many illustrious personalities like Domenico Modugno and Pino Pascali, offers his visitors lots of entertainment and nightlife.
