Lucera - San Severo

Lucera
There is not one single road that would not arouse curiosity: buildings with their bright facades and very ample surroundings, small monuments and sceneries which represent good taste, customs and civilization.
Not to be missed: the castle, built by Frederick The Second, on the highest hill of the city; the Garibaldi theatre, of the Bourbon era; the Roman antitheatre dating back to the Emperor Augustus age and the Roman bridge.

San Severo
Capital of Baroque and City of the bell towers.
In the old rich medieval village, with irregular and tortuous streets, we shall visit: the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta; the ancient cathedral of San Severino; the spectacular church of San Nicola, with its sumptuous Rococo interior; the very central Trinity church; the elegant church of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli (Holy Mary of Constantinople); the sanctuary of the Madonna del Soccorso (Our Lady of Perpetual Help).
